It was used 3 or 4 times at most and they usually sell mid 200s to high 200s. The purpose of this device is not to shock your dog into submission but more to give him like a tap saying hey pay attention, i'm here and telling you something you should listen. I decided to stop using the Einstein because his sudden aggression towards other towards other dogs stopped out of no where, just like it started.

It's reach is up to a mile. I tried the device on myself first at a lower setting than you would use on a dog. I'm a big guy but I have no hair on neck, and hair cuts back on the amt of electricity that gets to the skin. The most I went up to with him was 35 and the impulse goes to a hundred.

People often use them with hunting dogs. Something must set off his trigger and there are many people that live here with small dogs that were terrified of him even though he was a very gentle and affectionate dog.
