To eliminate downtime, the transmitter operates on a 9-volt alkaline battery that can be quickly changed in field. But for those looking this one, here is your chance. The transmitter is covered in a soft-touch coating for comfort. However, I never found the time to use it.

The only imperfection I could find is a small scratch on remote see in last picture. I will include a new extra harp battery, and 9v battery. I cut one of the two collar straps to 17 fit it on my dog.
